Jackson Endeavors is a faith-based economic development service provider. We believe that strong business built the right way builds community. Our goal is to equip local faithful business leaders through training, mentoring, advocating, and microloans and partner with faith-based non-profits or churches to host and support training. We are committed to supporting businesses and helping them grow to their full potential. Our services include in-person training and follow-up mentoring. We are passionate about making a positive impact and creating sustainable change in our community by aspiring entrepreneurs with a mindset of developing a solid foundation.

Denny Vander Molen
Founder and Chairman
Denny Vander Molen is the founder and CEO of Jackson Endeavors. With over 20 years of experience in economic development, Denny is committed to empowering local businesses and creating economic opportunities. He is passionate about helping entrepreneurs and small business owners achieve their goals.

Chris Govero
Treasurer
Chris Govero is a certified public accountant located in Clinton, Mississippi. He is the owner of Chris Govero, LLC. He is a graduate of Delta State University.

Mignon Kucia

Henry Joseph
Board Member
Bishop Henry Joseph III is passionate about church plating and making disciples. He has planted churches in Malawi, Burundi, South Africa, Pakistan, and Mississippi. God called this graduate of Wesley Bible Seminary and Ekklesia School of Ministry and Theology to be a senior pastor in Malawi. In 2010, Bishop Joseph was a delegate to the Lausanne Congress on World Evangelism in Cape Town, South Africa.

Larry Butler
Board Member
Larry is a small business consultant offering services in Business Operations and Financial analysis. He is a former owner/operator of a
multistate home health chains organization with operations in up to five states with more than three hundred employees for a period of more than twenty-five years. He has also worked as a Mentor with SCORE of Mississippi, offering small business mentoring and
coaching services.
Dr. J. Mignon Wilson Kucia has been an Associate Professor in the Communication Department at
Mississippi College for 22 years and is very involved in various areas of campus life, serving as the ST sponsor, yearbook advisor and sponsor of the PRAM group. Prior to teaching, Mignon was involved in media production and sales, advertising, corporate training, and nonprofit work. Dr Kucia and her husband Gerald live in Clinton, MS.

Dan Modisett
Board Member
Dan Modisett holds a board position at Jackson Endeavors, as well as the manager position at WLBT-TV and KNAZ-TV and the Account Executive position at both WJTV and WSLI AM-FM. Graduate of Mississippi College from the Master of Business Administration, Modisett is owner of KNVN NBC Station Chico, CA, as well as Consultant to TV Stations.

Gene Dent
Board Member
Gene Dent is a self-employed Real Estate Investor. His business focuses on one neighborhood, Broadmoor, in North Jackson, MS offering a model and workshop for young business people and entrepreneurs to learn the skills of business practice and leadership. He is a lifelong soulmate to his wife Betty Marsha, father of 3 outstanding adult children and an Elder at Redeemer Church in Jackson where he has lived 57 years.
